On the second floor of the guest house, Honore offers two adjacent rooms, one on the garden side, the other on the street, separated by a bathroom.
Accomodation offering two bedrooms, the master bedroom overlooking the garden, a room with twin beds on the street side, separated by a bathroom. It bears the name of the most famous novelist of the 19th century, Balzac who mocked the local “Tourangeaux” (inhabitants of the Touraine region) but acclaimed the Loire Valley for its wonderful landscapes and chateaux.
This room is vivacious, bold in style, with butterflies on the walls, Louis XV “bergère” armchair upholstered in vivid raspberry/aubergine colours, “tuli-pop” ceramic tiles from Dutch designer R. Van der Hilst in the en-suite bathroom. An invitation to cheerfulness.

Excellent!
We stayed at La Maison Jules for two nights in June and cannot recommend it highly enough. Alexandra is a very friendly, generous host and made us feel very comfortable during our stay. The room was very elegantly furnished and was very comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was very nice and kept us going for the rest of the day.
We were pleasantly surprised by Tours and spent several hours exploring the city. We also took the train to Chenonceaux for a chateau visit. La Maison Jules is in a central location so ideal for exploring locally or further afield by train.
